Sacramental Preparation
For the Sacraments of Baptism, 1st Holy Communion, Confirmation, and Holy Matrimony, there are various programs of preparation which include sessions with the pastor.
Baptism:
Couples meet individually with the pastor prior to the celebration of Baptism which usually takes place at Saturday or Sunday Mass.

1st Holy Communion:
Parents are the primary educators of their children in the ways of faith; therefore, parents meet monthly with the pastor to learn about the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. During the month, they work with their children at home through readings, activities, and prayer. All families preparing for 1st Holy Communion must participate in Generations of Faith.
Confirmation:
Confirmation is offered to all high school students who show a desire to enter into the fullness of the Catholic faith through the anointing with the Holy Spirit. They must be participants in Lifeteen and attend eight special sessions in preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation. They meet regularly with their sponsors and attend a special retreat day.
Holy Matrimony:
Couples preparing for Marriage meet individually with the pastor to review the teachings of the Church, develop a deeper prayer life, and review the FOCCUS instrument (couple communication). They also must attend a Diocesan sponsored Natural Family Planning Seminar and an Engaged Encounter Weekend Retreat prior to their wedding.
